The full octahedral fractal; one in the center, surrounded by 8, each of those surrounded by 8.  Intended to represent the I-Ching, with each of the 64 hexagrams assigned to each of the 64 octahedra.  Didn't seem like it would work out as I'd intended, so it still sits on my workbench. . . awaiting it's fate. . .

Within Star Tetrahedron, the simple triangle fractal becomes a 3D fractal of octahedra.  One in the center, surrounded by 8, each of those surrounded by 4 and each of those surrounded by 4.  Making 169 octahedra of 4 sizes.
