These are all of obsidian that I collected from Eastern Oregon. Sized 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 inches. Dodecahedron, CubeOctahedron and my first Star Tetrahedron. The range of obsidian varieties is amazing and beautiful. Top and Bottom Dodecahedra still available. . .
Within Star Tetrahedron, the simple triangle fractal becomes a 3D fractal of octahedra. One in the center, surrounded by 8, each of those surrounded by 4 and each of those surrounded by 4. Making 169 octahedra of 4 sizes.
Star Tetrahedron made of recycled materials. Helix DreamWeaver made of bailing twine. Stands about five feet tall. This is for sale/trade. In the background is another DreamWeaver in a Fir pole star tetrahedron, also for sale/trade.
Star Tetrahedron made into 8 pyramids, each with a CubeOctahedron summit.
Start with a cube, carve a rhombic dodecahedron. Carve that into the compound of a cube and an octahedron. Carve the cube into a star tetrahedron and hollow out the octahedron. Make the octahedral frame into 3 interlocking squares, and make the star tetrahedron into a trippy twisty star rattler-then you got what you see …
