One of my Winter projects. Long winter nights seemed to have inspired many starry works. This is basically a study in the amazingness of pentagrams, how they link up to make larger pentagrams, especially interesting when tiling a dodecahedron, or in this case a variation of a dodecadodecahedron. Interesting thing about the photograph is the optical illusion in the center, what looks like a cube, coming right at you!
Alaskan Yellow Cedar, about 6 inches.
